How Service Works

Set carts curbside by 6:00 AM on your service day.

  • Monday: Old Berwick Rd Area, Mifflinville, Mainville, Wonderview Neighborhood
  • Tuesday: Lightstreet Area, Bloomsburg (North of Rt 11), Buckhorn (North of I-80), Millertown Rd Area
  • Wednesday: Catawissa, Numidia, Fisherdale, Parrs Mill, Roaring Creek, Danville, Riverside, Mausdale, Kaseville, Frosty Valley Rd Area
  • Thursday: Buckhorn (South of I-80), Town of Bloomsburg
  • Recycling: 2nd Friday—Lightstreet, Danville & Buckhorn • 3rd Friday—Old Berwick Rd, Mifflinville & Catawissa

What We Offer

Weekly Can Service (Trash)

  • Cart sizes: 64-gal or 96-gal (add extra carts anytime)

  • Set-out: the night before your pickup day

  • Weight limits:  7 bags per week limit

  • Not accepted: Hazardous waste, liquids/paint, batteries, hot ashes, concrete, dirt, rock, tires

Single-Stream Recycling (Easy & Efficient)

No sorting. Keep it clean and dry.
Yes: paper, cardboard (flatten), metal cans (aluminum/steel), plastic bottles & jugs
No: plastic bags/film, food-soiled items, hoses/cords (“tanglers”), Styrofoam
Pro tip: Empty • Rinse • Dry. Place items loose in the cart

Bulk Pickup (On-Demand)

Curbside removal for large or hard-to-dispose items.
How it works:

  1. Request a date and quick quote.

  2. We send prep instructions (e.g., doors off appliances).

  3. Place items curbside by 6:00 AM.
    Common items: sofas, mattresses/box springs, tables, grills, non-freon appliances.
    Notes: Construction debris limits apply; freon units require special handling. Please ensure it will not be raining on items like mattresses or couches.

Branded Carts Available for Rent (Own Your Cart)

Upgrade your curb with RD Disposal-branded rolling carts—built tough for local weather and weekly use.

  • Sizes: 64-gal

  • Features: rugged wheels, tight-seal lid, molded handle

  • Branding: RD Disposal logo standard; custom/HOA options for volume orders
    Add an extra rental cart to your plan anytime.

How Service Works

  1. Sign up online or by phone.

  2. Cart delivery to your address within a few business days.

  3. Set out – Have your Garbage or Recyclables out the night before your scheduled pickup day

  4. We collect—and keep your curb clean. Add bulk pickups whenever you need them.
